A Tribute to 5 pointz

When I first moved to Queens last year, one of the first places I went to visit was the famous 5 Pointz. 

This kicked off my interest in graffiti and street art and it has only expanded from here.
Sadly, on November 19th in the wee hours of the morning, this beautiful and elaborate building filled with intricate creations was washed out without warning.

 I’m glad I was able to visit it many times throughout the year and even pass it and admire it from the 7 train.So long graffiti mecca, you will be missed.
