Labor Day weekend as we know represents the ending of summer. To me, this marks the beginning of cultural and autumn festivities, my absolute favorite.
For the last 30 years in the center of Times Square on 46th Street, also known as Little Brazil, Brasileros and by standers from all over the world have come together to celebrate Brazil’s Independence Day.
Stretching 25 blocks you can experience all types of Brazilian culture from capoeira, churrascos, samba, live tunes from Paula Fernandes and Fabio Jr, and so much more.
I always look forward to this celebration and know that it is only prepping me for my big trip to Brazil in the near future. Berimbau!
