The Whitney is among one of my favorite museums to visit in the city.

I’ve been using a museum pass for the last couple of years to grant me free entry into the museum and I took advantage of it for as long as I could.

I came specifically to this museum to view Carmen Herrera’s Lines of Sight exhibit, which featured a series of her signature work from 1948 to 1978.

It also happens that the Whitney has one of my favorite rooftop views that you can access from multiple floors. Located on the west side, you can see all the amazing skyscrapers in Manhattan and Jersey City on the other side of the Hudson. On a nice day you can spend hours out on the patio.

This museum has hosted some of my favorite exhibits throughout the years.

I’ll miss this space but will be sure to visit on my future trip back to NYC.
